Dynamic Cuff and Skinloc Technology
The ASO EVO features a redesigned Dynamic Cuff that enhances circumferential compression around the distal tibiofibular joint. The cuff is now lined with CoolFlex padding for improved comfort and incorporates Skinloc material to resist distal migration, ensuring the brace stays securely in place during vigorous activity. This improved cuff provides essential support where it’s needed most to resist lateral forces.
Revolutionary Strapping System for Stability
The unique Stirrup & Stabilizing Straps system is key to the ASO EVO’s performance:

The inner stirrup strap is redirected through slots in the dynamic cuff and continues outside the boot.

The straps then better capture the calcaneus (heel) and actively resist inversion or eversion of the ankle, working to help stabilize the talocrural and subtalar joints.
Enhanced Comfort and Application Ease
Comfort and durability have been meticulously improved:

CoolFlex Achilles Pad & Tongue: Features spandex fiber to provide superior comfort along the Achilles tendon and dorsum of the foot. The shoelace is conveniently attached to the bottom of the tongue for ease of application.

Hidden Seam: For improved comfort and durability, the seam is now positioned along the rear portion of the boot, eliminating the seam under the foot that can cause irritation.
The ASO EVO features a bilateral design, meaning it fits both the left or right foot, simplifying inventory and application.

In addition, the dynamic cuff has been upgraded to offer superior comfort and support.
Dynamic Cuff
Excess material has been removed from the internal plastic cuff to enhance the circumferential compression around the distal tibiofibular joint. In addition, the dynamic cuff is now lined with CoolFlex padding for improved comfort and Skinloc material to resist distal migration.
Stirrup & Stabilizing Straps
Inner stirrup strap is redirected through slots in the dynamic cuff and continues outside the boot to form the stabilizing straps which better capture the calcaneus (heel) and resist inversion or eversion of the ankle to help stabilize the talocrural and subtalar joints.
CoolFlex Achilles Pad & Tongue
CoolFlex padding contains spandex fiber to provide superior comfort along the Achilles tendon and dorsum of foot. The shoe lace is attached to the bottom of the tongue for ease of application.
